Description
Bring out the color! Created on canvas sheet this uniquely abstract expressionist piece was inspired by a visit to The Caverns of Sonora in Sonora, Texas. I will never forget such natural beauty as is there. I have been inside many amazing caves but Sonora is the most unique. Like being inside a gigantic geode with winding paths through crystallized sculptured gardens of stalactites and stalagmites so colorful and profoundly beautiful it was a true adventure. I just had to do this piece. The orangey red glow comes from the cave's lighting system in the background around some of the coves, which give the impression they lead to yet other crevasses and unexplored pathways through the underground maze. The caverns are considered to be one of the world's most unique and precious caves! Come on in and inspect all the elements with me.
