Just like the theory that the universe is order out of chaos, this little painting has an amazing depth that is not only visual but also actual because of the thicknesses and layers of paints. I used a multitude of various types of acrylic paints and finished it all off with a gorgeous glossy varnish that adds to the allure. It's as primal as the beginning.
Holly Carmichael is a retired contemporary creative artist living in the United States. Her artwork is inspired by life, philosophy, revealed religion, beauty, nature, and the cosmos. Dramatic skies, weather events, geological treasures, and fabulous landscapes are common influences.
