This painting was inspired by all the vegetable gardens that people were planting during the height of the season. And, as I was looking at some wild sweet pea plants it came to mind to do this piece. It has a fabulous feel and texture and is finished off with a beautiful matte varnishto protect the relief-like thick paint. It resides in the private collection of Wendy Watson.
