About Holly Carmichael

Holly Carmichael Holly Carmichael is a retired contemporary creative artist living in the USA.

Her artwork is inspired by life, philosophy, revealed religion, beauty, nature, and the cosmos. Dramatic skies, weather events, geological treasures, and fabulous landscapes are common influences. As a nature lover, she engages the eye by utilizing natural subject matter to produce whimsical, beautiful paintings. Many pieces are symbolic and meaningful while love is a common recurring theme. God's creation, His Universe of Universes, is an everlasting inspiration influencing her work in one way or another.

She uses both expression and impression as well as gestural and sometimes abstract styles and methods. In some pieces she leaves something to the imagination while at other times there are hidden figures. Her artwork is unique, energetic, bright, colorful, uplifting and beautiful.


Holly Carmichael has artwork which has been featured in several art shows, and also in numerous groups on Fine Art America. She has had several features in Art.com's Original Art and Photography group. She has been honored to have had artwork in an ad in The Artists Magazine for Art.com.
