Description
Sublimity did a lot of things as I painted it. When I started, I wanted to do something inspirational. I love trees and nature as well as God and so I set out to utilize the the ancient blue concentric circles symbol I read about in The Urantia Book. The symbol represents the Original Trinity and I wanted to paint it in a way that would portray hope when things seem cold and barren. God is here for us through thick and through thin - through every wintertime of the soul, there He is lighting the way even if it is just a subliminal message from above. (On a technical note, it was also a test of skill both to do it in dots and to keep the yellow paint from turning green as I dotted and dabbed along making this a very good experience with acrylic paints for me.)
