Description
When I painted this mountain meadow loaded with blooming flowers, my heart wandered to the endlessly inspirational Great Smoky Mountains. No matter what the weather, I have crossed over the "Smokies" to be with my family time and again. It's such a gorgeous drive. I was missing them and this scene just poured out of the paint and onto my canvas. A gorgeous double reflection symbolizes our wonderful reuniting.
